The Sargent Praise Team, formed in 2009 under the umbrella of the Contemporary Ministry, is a group of people who just want to minister to the Lord with their voices. With members of many ages, the Praise Team currently ministers on 5th Sundays and as requested. With a musical repertoire of contemporary, new and oldies but goodies, the Praise Team focuses on the ministry, making sure that everything that they sing is to glorify and magnify the Lord.

The Praise Team has ministered in various services such as: The Gospel-Aire’s 34th Anniversary Concert, ministered selections at homegoing services, Christmas, Easter, Watch Night, and Good Friday services, created and hosted a concert series titled “Gospel Explosion”, collaborated with the Sargent Wings, Male Chorus and Timbrel, and participated in the BPU Musical and Artistic Celebration in February 2020.

Psalms 100:1-2 (ESV) says “...Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into His presence with singing...” and each and every time we minister, it is pleasing in His sight. The Praise team is open to anyone age 12 and up, who has a heart for God and worship and is serious about ministry.
