Community Resources & Support
Serving Our Neighbors with Compassion and Care
At Sargent Memorial Presbyterian Church, we believe our calling extends beyond our walls and into the wider community. This page highlights public and community resources, programs, and support services available through the church and our partners, offered in a spirit of hospitality, dignity, and love.
Here you will find information about programs such as the SHARE Program, along with other opportunities for assistance, connection, and care. Whether you are seeking support for yourself or someone else, or looking for ways to connect with community resources, we hope this page serves as a helpful and welcoming guide.

SMPC Mental Health and Wellness Resources
At Sargent Memorial Presbyterian Church, we believe that caring for your mental health is an important part of caring for your whole self. This Mental Wellness Series explores the connection between faith, emotional well-being, rest, and community support through trusted resources, meaningful conversations, and practical tools for healing. Drawing from Scripture, mental health experts, and organizations serving the Black community, this series reminds us that seeking wellness is not a sign of weakness—it is an act of stewardship and faith. Pride 2026 Resources | Faith, Justice, and Joy: A Journey of Radical Welcome
This June, join us for a 4-part video series during Sunday worship as we explore what it means to move from simple welcome to active, intentional affirmation of our LGBTQIA+ siblings. Rooted in the Black church tradition of liberation and our Presbyterian heritage, these weekly moments will use scripture, church doctrine, and resources from pioneering organizations like More Light Presbyterians and The Fellowship of Affirming Ministries to help us build a longer table for all of God's children.
