Fill the Fridge
"He who is generous will be blessed, for he gives some of his food to the poor." — Proverbs 22:9 At Sargent Memorial Presbyterian Church, we believe that caring for the least among us is not just an act of kindness — it is an act of faith. Evangelism's Fill the Fridge initiative is a call to the body of Christ to come together and ensure that no child in our community goes without food. We are collecting non-perishable food items, including canned goods, peanut butter, pasta and rice, fruit cups, snacks, juice boxes, and more. Monetary donations are also welcome and will go directly toward purchasing fresh food and essentials for children in need. As we are moved by the love of Christ, let us move in love toward others. Every can, every dollar, every act of giving is a reflection of His heart for the vulnerable and the hungry. To donate or for more information, please see any member of the Evangelism Ministry or email smpcevangelism@gmail.com

On FIRE for the Word & the Temple 🔥✨ SMPC Family, get ready to ignite your spirit! We are back with the next installments of our summer series, and this time, we are bringing the heat for an ""On FIRE"" Weekend this September. This weekend is all about keeping your spiritual and physical light burning bright through two unique experiences. A Weekend of Fire and Focus Our celebration kicks off mid-week on Wednesday, September 2nd, at 7:30 PM with the return of Wine & The Word. We’re staying in the virtual space for this session, so join us live on Zoom from the comfort of your home. It’s a spiritual spark designed for deep scripture diving and sisterly fellowship—so pour a glass of your favorite wine or juice, open your Bible, and let’s reflect on the Word together. The momentum continues on Saturday, September 5th, at 10:00 AM, as we transition to Room 113 for another powerful session of Faith & Fitness. As we head into the holiday weekend, let’s put in the work to honor the temples God has entrusted to us. We’ll be moving with intentionality, so please plan to arrive a few minutes early and remember to bring your yoga mat, a towel, and plenty of water to stay hydrated. Let’s come together to finish the summer strong and remain on fire for the Lord!"
